Villa Simplice | IM22114
Concept
This villa is conceived as a study of modern minimalism — a home defined by proportion, balance, and restraint.
The concept revolves around the interplay of solids and voids: robust stone volumes balanced by transparent glass planes, creating a dialogue between privacy and openness. Soft vertical textures, natural stone, and warm woods introduce a layer of calm sophistication.
The architecture is shaped around light and shadow. Deep frames, horizontal bands, and controlled openings sculpt the sunlight as it moves across the façade. The central double-height interior becomes the emotional core of the home, connecting levels visually and drawing natural light deep into the space.
This concept expresses a modern lifestyle — one that values quiet luxury, purity in form, and spaces that feel grounded yet effortlessly elegant.

Approach
- User-Driven Functionality We started by understanding how the family lives — their flow, privacy needs, and the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Every spatial decision is designed to enhance comfort and simplify daily living.
- Refined Simplicity The design approach focuses on clean geometry, quiet materials, and functional clarity. Every line, opening, and frame is intentional, creating a calm and organized architectural language.
- Integration With Nature Soft landscaping, shaded pathways, and controlled daylight transform the home into a breathable environment. Nature is invited in through large openings, internal courtyards, and curated greenery.
- Long-Term Practicality Materials, proportions, and details were selected for durability and low maintenance — ensuring the villa remains as elegant and functional years from now as it is today.
